I think the squirrels would provide the best entertainment value. Though perhaps less certainty as to effectiveness.

But wouldn't spring break be bearable if you could just send the kids outside? If, for example, we had pleasant, springlike weather? I know, it's too much to wish for...

I thought about adding that to the list of options -- let the kids out, lock the door, turn out the lights. Nobody's home! ( I know, a little too much gallows humor)
