What a wonderful start to the day!

I love when I start the morning by yelling at both of my kids.  It gives me such a good warm feeling inside, a feeling I know will help us all get off to a good start.  This morning, I feel like the Dad of the year.

And the kids are probably thinking "Oh Boy, we got Dad to yell at BOTH of us this morning. We WIN!! What can we make him do this afternoon???"

Hang in there - there are more mornings in store where you get to watch them play happily while you sit in the warm sun and sit coffee and just enjoy the day with them.

BTW, you're an absolutely wonderful dad. I'd vote you Dad of the year any time! Really!!!!

I don't either of them were too pleased with themselves this morning (though there are certainly days when they are). I just hate starting days like this -- often it sets such a horrible tone for the rest of the day.

Sounds like how I felt Saturday morning, trying to get out of the house for a "fun" morning activity.

I love when those "fun" activities start with yelling. It makes you feel like you're part of the dysfunctional family from hell.
