It is hard to be reasonable and patient when you have only had maybe six good hours of sleep due to the fact that your children spent the morning from about 6 am on waking you up every twenty minutes.

Watching television, unfortunately, requires at least some semblance of quiet (at least enough to hear things like dialogue) and both of my kids insist on gathering around me and either loudly bickering with each other or giving their best impression of Sleestacks. uuuuurrrrrrrrrgggggghhhhhh
