Help! -- My house is overrun with Sleestacks!

The boys are storming around the house and making hissing noises for reasons only they can tell.  Quick -- someone tell Will and Holly the Sleestacks are on the loose!

Now I'm going to go slinking around the house hissing, too. It's sad how few people seem to remember the sleestacks anymore.

The boys recently watched an episode of Land of the Lost from a DVD collection called The World of Sid and Marty Kroft. They were absolutely transfixed by it (and afterwards Arie, who is not easily frightened, asked why it was so much scarier than the other Kroft shows we'd seen). I was really surprised at how well done it was -- I was expecting tit to be total cheese but it was quite good. All three seasons have been collected on DVD (through Rhino). I'm currently trying to find a MN library willing to lend it through interlibrary loan but so far have been unsuccessful (those Sleestacks, though, were pretty damn creepy).
