Help!!! My son has been possessed by a three year old!!!!

Which is probably because he's three.  Let me tell you, anyone who calls two terrible has no experience whatsoever with the younger preschool set known as the three year old.  If you see one lurking on the street, in your yard or home, beware -- the three year old is considered to be incredibly dangerous, extremely illogical and full of attitude.  Consider yourself warned.

Stephen J. Gould had a theory that infant/young animals had evolved over the ages to look "cute" to encourage their parents to take care of them. This would be a natural defense for the young to combat the long periods of unpleasantness involved in raising them. I often think to myself when he's at his most unpleasant that Éiden is damn lucky he's so cute with his round belly and curly hair.

Oh, yes, we know about this. The spouse and I frequently say "they're cute so we don't kill them."

Unfortunately, this always doesn't work, which is why I have a hard time with the news.
