Éiden:  No, no, noo!  I don't want pizza!

Me:  Aaaannd . . . golden delicious apples!

Éiden:  (raising hands over his head in celebration) Hooray!

Man, I wish my kid would get that excited about fruit.

The latest new food he's added to his repertoire: sheep's milk brie cheese and crackers. I got him to try the cheese because there was a picture of a "lambie" on the packaging. I may start sneaking stickers of bunnies and lambs onto a wider variety of foods, and see if they'll pass muster.

Éiden gets excited about a lot of things -- he's really not one to hold his emotions in check, for good or bad.

The animal theme sounds like a good idea -- Annie's has the rabbit on their box and I know he eats that, so maybe you're on to something. A lot of gouda cheese comes with a cow on the label and the greens at our store come wrapped with a picture of a bear.
