The Rescheduling Extravaganza!

The last appointment Arie had at Integrative Medicine in Children's Hospital in Minneapolis was rescheduled a total of five times. Not by me, mind you, but by Integrative Medicine. Each time I thought I had a time and date set, a few days later the receptionist/secretary would call me to say the doctor was unavailable at that time and could we find a new time. The last rescheduling came less than a day before the appointment, asking us to move the time up three hours earlier (and then we waited for thirty minutes in the waiting room because the doctor wasn't there). So it really shouldn't surprise me in the least to get yet another call from Integrative Medicine asking to reschedule the appointment that I made less than a week ago. I have no idea why it is so difficult to set up a time to meet with a doctor but apparently it is. Personally, I'm really getting sick of it and, though I've written the time and date on our calendar, I'm not counting on it staying there without at least several more changes.
