According to a Wall Street Journal/NBC poll:  21 percent of Clinton supporters are supporting McCain and that another 27 percent are still holding out.

Seriously, I do not understand the inability of Clinton supporters to just move on.  This is absolutely asinine.  Hey, I'm really mad that my candidate didn't get picked so I'm gonna go out and vote for the person who stands for and represents nearly everything my candidate is against and I'm gonna help try to convince others to do the same just.  How does that make sense?  It's no better than my son throwing a fit because he didn't get his way and then he goes up to his room and trashes his own things.

A recent McCain ad attempting to further strike a wedge between Clinton supporters and the Democratic party features Debra Bartoshevich, an outspoken Wisconsin Democratic delegate who lost her seat at the convention after saying she'd vote for McCain over Obama.  She, of course, is a Hillary supporter.  The ad ends with her saying, "A lot of Democrats will vote McCain.  It's okay, really!”  No it's not okay.  Really.

I think they do realize those things but they just don't care (or maybe its that they've just talked themselves into believing it doesn't matter or won't really be all that bad because they think it can be reversed). That's what bothers me so much about this group of people, that they are willing to throw away everything they claim to care about just because they're pissed off. It really is no different than a three-year-old's tantrum.
