And, because the E and A on our keyboard was sticking, I decided to take it apart tonight and give it a thorough cleaning. Two and a half hours later, after cleaning each nook and cranny and key with rubbing alcohol and a Q-tip, the keyboard is shiny and new and works like a dream. And in spite of the length of time it took, it was a hell of a lot easier than taking apart the Mighty Mouse and cleaning it out like I did about a month ago.

I knew someone on my f-list had taken apart their keyboard but I couldn't remember who. Yours looks like it was a lot more difficult to reassemble than mine was. All I had to do was pop out the keys. I didn't have all the little screws and plastic circles and stuff. It's amazing how much crap can get into a keyboard, though.

I hadn't even thought of that (the keys corresponding with the boys).

I haven't been able to write at all last month because of all the Christmas preparations I had. The break has given me a chance to think about what I need to do, writing-wise, though and I'll be starting on the third draft this Monday, when Éiden and Arie start school again.
