God Bless Ye Merry Gilligan

About nineteen years ago I was in the A & P on Union Square Park in New York City. I was walking down the cereal aisle listening to muzak versions of Christmas songs when I realized that the theme song to Gilligan's Isle fit perfectly to "God Bless Yes Merry Gentlemen". Since then, I have heard nothing but "Gilligan's Isle" when I've heard this particular carol. Go ahead and try it for yourself. It works best when you use the lyrics to the original theme song that ends with,"the movie star, and the rest . . . " rather than the later version that listed off Mary Anne and the Professor.
