Decidedly not envious.

No. There is absolutely nothing to envy about our current weather.

Does snow mess with H?

No, the cold is fine. It's the heat that causes problems. Still, she's not too happy about the snow.

::smiles:: Say hi to one of my favorite super heros. Squeeze the boys too. We still had a laugh over our salvation from the recent evil plot as late as last night.

It is? Dammit!

I ask myself the same question every year.

In contrast, both of the boys are absolutely thrilled.

I have to admit that a little part of me (probably the same part responsible for those dogsledding lessons I signed up for) is thrilled, too.

Most of me is cranky, though.

It may not be much now, but just wait. Those six arctic months are just around the corner.

If it makes you feel any better, Connecticut is expecting its first "significant" snow of the season tomorrow. We had a "Sou'easter" Saturday night - winds up to 60 mph, but coming from the south. However, there is a "Nor'easter" brewing in the Atlantic and it will blow up into a "huge storm" off Cape Cod tomorrow. Significant snow in the Berkshires and Northwest CT beginning tomorrow afternoon and snow showers for the rest of the state. Ahhhh winter in New England!!!

Last night the temperature got down to 25 degrees. Tonight it's supposed to get into the teens. On the plus side, by Thursday, we should be back to highs in the 60's. Today is pretty nasty, though. We had wind-chills of 21 degrees this morning. Brrr.
