There are times when it is painful not to laugh.

"Éiden -- don't do that to your brother," I say to him at the dinner table. "It's not funny when you do that to people."

Éiden stops and looks at me thoughtfully.

"It's not funny for the person that's being annoyed," he says.

"No -- it's not," I agree. "It's not fun at all."

He looks down, thinking for a moment, then looks up at me again.

"But it is fun for the person doing the annoying."

He does, and I had to leave the table because I couldn't stop myself from laughing (I disguised it as a terrible cough, so Éiden wouldn't know).
