After Éiden explained to me how tea steeps ("There is a very good smell and it lifts up and then it stays there and then the very good smell gets trapped in the tea"), I asked him, "How did you get so cute?"

"Well, because I'm just four," he said. "Yeah, . . . four."

After he'd stirred the tea for a bit he stopped and said, "Wait! We didn't squeeze out the bag really hard to put all the very good smell into the tea!"

I assured him I had done that, and he was happy.
