I have always hated Valentine's Day

On Valentine's Day, in 1989, because neither of us had ever had girlfriends, my friend Mike and I threw wads of wet toilet paper (some filled with a variety of different food condiments) and water filled condoms from our eighth floor window in New York at all the happy couples we saw walking down the street.

I just thought it was too long (and maybe a bit bitter). Yeah, Haddayr gave me flowers one year. I threw 'em out the window at couple that was holding hands and making goo-goo eyes at each other.

Me and my buds did something similar in high school. Except instead of throwing condoms, we filled them with various nasty concoctions and tied them to the flush handles of urinals in public restrooms at the mall.

...ah the good old days...

Now that's a story to tell the grandkids!
