What was the temperature last week?  The fifties?  Today it feels like about eighty degrees after having to mow the lawn which sprang into an unwieldy wilderness overnight.  I am covered in sweat and have heat rash on my face and behind my ears.  So spring lasted, what?  Two days.  It's days like this tha I wonder why the hell I ever moved to this god-forsaken place.

I try to blame the global warming for every thing I can.

I think Minnesota has always been like this -- winter lasts forever, spring shows up for a couple days and then it's suddenly summer.

Sounds like what I heard on a documentary about the Adirondacks. They say they have two seasons: deep winter, and the 4th of July.

Yeah, that's pretty much what it's like here.

Come to Philadelphia! We have the same weather (less snow, though) but we also have cheesesteaks and the liberty bell.

I've been to Philly several times and really enjoyed it (especially the Duchamp wing at the Museum of Art).
