Last Friday it started to snow.  Today is a beautiful day, the sun is out, the air is warm, there's just enough breeze to make you feel cool and refreshed.  It is the perfect day to be outside, a day in which it would be a crime to think of doing anything but spending time outdoors.  It is what we who reside in Minnesota have been waiting for for months.  What will I be doing?  I shall be residing underneath my kitchen sink , like Dagwood Bumstead, for most of the day, replacing the motherfucking waste pipes which decided last night (all together, all at once, every single one of them) to finish rotting through.  I woke up in the morning to waste water all over the cabinet under the sink and have just returned from getting a new set of pipes at Home Depot.  Oh what a joyous day to spend underneath a sink, cursing and swearing, bloodying my knuckles and teaching my three year old son a new set of words and phrases that he had previously not known existed.  Hooray for plumbing!  Now please pardon me as I depart to go smack my head on the bottom of the sink several times.
