Although I like how they sound, I've always hated the frontman of Big Black, Steve Albini, for his pretentiousness (though maybe that's the pot calling the kettle black -- I'm sure a lot of people have said thhe same about me). I've also always been disturbed by the name of Albini's later band, Rapeman, and for that reason haven't really ever been able to get behind Big Black.
