30 Days of Music: Day 10
Jan. 21st, 2011 10:22 amA Song That Puts Me To Sleep
I'm assuming this means a bad song, but bad songs never put me to sleep. They just grate on my nerves until I'm ready to scream. I haven't listened to music in bed for years, but when I was fourteen and fifteen, I used to listen to Public Image Ltd.'s album, This Is What You Want... This Is What You Get endlessly at night, and I often went to sleep listening to the last track on it, "The Order of Death." It's haunting and moody, and it sounds a little like something that might fit into the soundtrack to a John Carpenter movie very nicely. Maybe not something conducive to pleasant dreams, but I've still always loved the song.
