Hello Night Owls
Oct. 9th, 2010 09:05 pmFor anyone out there reading lj late at night or just looking for something to do (or even if you're reading this on Sunday, because it'll still be going on):
Mark Mallman, a Twin Cities musician is in the midst of performing for 78 hours straight (he's calling it Marathon 3 since he's previously performed for a 26 hour stint - Marathon 1 in 1999 -- and a 52 hour stint -- Marathon 2 in 2004). You can watch the action as it happens live at the Turf Club in St. Paul at this website. Or, if you're in the Twin Cities area and want to check it out, he's set to finish tomorrow night (Oct. 10th) at 8pm. I was down there this afternoon and plan to go tomorrow as well to check it out. It's kind of neat.
