For about two decades I would have horrible dreams like this--I called these my Christmas stress dreams. And yes, they would run on during times of great emotional stress. Christmas was for a while a *huge* deal to me, and any suggestion of not being able to decorate or do thing sproperly really wigged me out.

So my sympathies on this dream.
