Old band tapes

So after putting it off for several years, I've finally started converting my old band's recordings to MP3s. The coolest thing about it, though, is that one of the songs had a six second gap in it because someone accidently erased part of the song (and the master tapes were lost in a house fire about twelve years back). Using Audacity, I copied and spliced a similar section (it was the chorus and part of a bridge) into the gap and if you didn't know it, you'd never hear the splice (you can't really hear it even knowing it's there). Yay for technology!
