To this day, at the age of 62, I can look back and picture myself laying in bed during the early summer when it was still light out, but grandma insisted that I had to go to bed at 8:00. I still feel mad and not sleepy in the least, and can see the sun still shining outside and hear the other neighborhood kids outside playing.
I actually like having the extra daylight in the summer but I hate the adjustment and it's gotten worse with kids (though March is kind of ridiculous to start daylight savings).
In spite of my memory, I only remember going to sleep when it was light out when we lived on Farview Drive, though maybe that's because you let us stay up later after we moved.
